Adivi Sesh’s Dacoit Ek Prem Katha Inspired by Akshay Kumar’s Pad Man

Pad Man’s Influence

Adivi Sesh credits Akshay Kumar’s Pad Man as the inspiration behind the bilingual format of his upcoming film Dacoit Ek Prem Katha. He explained that Pad Man, though rooted in Tamil Nadu, was set in Madhya Pradesh yet connected with audiences nationwide. This, he noted, proves that authentic regional stories can resonate across India.

Hindi Telugu Strategy

Unlike films that rely on dubbing, Dacoit is being shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. Sesh believes this ensures cultural authenticity while also appealing to a pan‑Indian audience. He emphasized that the bilingual format is not just a commercial move but also a creative necessity.

A Love Story with Wider Reach

Set against the backdrop of dacoit culture, Dacoit is described as a love story with universal themes. By adopting a dual‑language approach, Sesh hopes to bridge audiences across regions and strengthen the growing wave of pan‑Indian cinema.
