Chand Mera Dil Box Office Collection Bombs Despite Big Buzz

Opening Week Numbers Disappoint

Bollywood’s latest romantic drama Chand Mera Dil has failed to set the box office on fire. The film collected ₹17.5 crore net in India and ₹23.39 crore worldwide in its first week. For a Dharma Productions release with a star cast, these numbers are far below expectations.

Day Wise Collections Tell the Story

The film opened with ₹3 crore on Day 1, climbed to ₹4.25 crore on Sunday, but then crashed midweek with just ₹1.90 crore on Wednesday. The Chand Mera Dil box office collection clearly shows a steep drop, proving the hype fizzled out quickly.

Audience Reactions Mixed and Spicy

Viewers gave mixed reviews. While Lakshya and Ananya Panday’s chemistry was praised, the storyline failed to strike an emotional chord. Social media chatter around Chand Mera Dil turned cold after the first weekend, with memes and debates overshadowing genuine appreciation.

Competition Crushes Chand Mera Dil

Heavyweights like Drishyam 3 and regional blockbuster Karuppu dominated screens, leaving Chand Mera Dil struggling for attention. The film’s box office collection suffered as audiences flocked to bigger, more gripping releases.

OTT May Offer a Lifeline

Trade experts believe Chand Mera Dil could find redemption on OTT platforms, where romantic dramas often attract niche audiences. But in theatres, the film’s run looks nearly over, with no signs of revival in collections.

Final Verdict

With ₹17.5 crore net in India and ₹23.39 crore worldwide, Chand Mera Dil has underperformed badly. The film’s struggle highlights how mid budget romantic dramas are losing ground in a market ruled by action spectacles and regional powerhouses.
