Mustafa Ahmed Spills Bollywood’s Wildest Fitness Secrets

    There are trainers.
And then there are the people who see Bollywood stars when the cameras are off, the filters are gone, and the only thing left is sweat, pain, and pure discipline.

Mustafa Ahmed is one of those people.

Before stepping into the spotlight as Rizwan in Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Mustafa spent years shaping some of Bollywood’s most elite physiques — Hrithik Roshan, Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh, and more.

Now that he's both trainer and actor, he's finally talking. And honestly, what he revealed sounds less like fitness stories and more like superhero origin tales.

Let’s start with the one that broke the internet.

Hrithik Roshan and the 14 Chapatti Phenomenon

    Fourteen chapattis.

    Not across the day.
    Not during a cheat day.
    Not spread between meals.

    Fourteen chapattis. In one sitting.

According to Mustafa, Hrithik’s diet during heavy training phases looks like something nutritionists would double-check twice. But for Hrithik, it's just fuel.

“His body just absorbs it,” Mustafa shared in a candid interview. “You watch him eat and you stop asking questions. You just accept that different rules apply.”

And here's the thing - this isn't random overeating. It's calculated. Hrithik’s muscle mass, training intensity, and recovery demands require serious calories. What would slow most people down somehow powers him up.

Considering Hrithik has also battled multiple injuries, including knee surgeries and recovery phases, the discipline behind that diet becomes even more impressive.

Most people eat two chapattis and call it dinner.

Hrithik eats fourteen… and then probably goes and trains again.

    Different species, honestly.

Vicky Kaushal’s Stomach is Basically Indestructible

If Hrithik’s metabolism is supernatural, Vicky Kaushal’s digestion might be… industrial grade.

Mustafa’s description was simple and unforgettable:

“Vicky can eat a brick and digest it.”

    Clearly a metaphor.
    But also… not entirely.

While many actors stress over clean eating, carb cycles, and restrictive diets, Vicky reportedly keeps it straightforward:

    Eat what the body needs
    Train hard
    Repeat

No drama. No food anxiety. No complicated formulas.

Mustafa worked closely with Vicky during demanding transformations for Uri: The Surgical Strike and Chhaava — both roles requiring a convincing warrior physique. The foundation? A body that could handle heavy nutrition and intense training without breaking rhythm.

There's something refreshingly practical about Vicky's approach. He doesn't overthink fitness. He simply does the work.

    Feed the machine.
    Train the machine.
    Let the machine deliver.

Ranveer Singh Doesn’t Train… He Explodes

    And then there's Ranveer Singh.

Who apparently plays by an entirely different rulebook.

Mustafa worked with Ranveer during Padmaavat, and the experience left a lasting impression — mostly because Ranveer didn’t struggle. He just… transformed.

“You don’t train Ranveer. You aim him.”

    That’s the energy everyone describes.

Ranveer reportedly arrived already half-transformed, as if he simply decided one morning to become a warrior and his body complied immediately.

His training style mirrors his personality:

    Loud
    Energetic
    All-in
    No half measures

    Rest days? Optional.
    Intensity? Maximum.

Watching Ranveer train, Mustafa suggests, is exhausting even if you're just standing nearby.

The Trainer Who Became the Story

Mustafa Ahmed’s journey is as compelling as the stars he trains.

Raised in West Delhi with an Afghani background, Mustafa dealt with dyslexia early in life and dropped out of formal education. By 21, he was already earning ₹1 lakh per month as a call centre team leader — solid money at the time.

    Then came a turning point.

At a Janakpuri gym, he helped a woman who had been ignored by another trainer. Weeks later, she sent him a letter saying his guidance had transformed not just her fitness — but her marriage.

    That letter changed everything.

    Mustafa quit his job.
Started fresh at ₹10,000 per month.
    Built from scratch.

Soon, he became Fitness First’s top trainer across Asia, reportedly handling close to 400 sessions in a single month.

Then came the message that changed his career.

In 2015, Hrithik Roshan texted him directly.

    They met. Discussed injuries.
Two days later, Mustafa was training one of Bollywood’s biggest stars.

    From there, doors opened:

    Ranveer Singh
    Vicky Kaushal
    Yami Gautam
    And many more

“I wasn’t a bright kid. But I was always physical. Academics weren’t my thing — movement was,” Mustafa once shared.

    From Trainer to Actor

Director Aditya Dhar spotted something beyond fitness credentials and cast Mustafa in Dhoom Dhaam. That role eventually expanded into Dhurandhar: The Revenge, where Mustafa plays intelligence operative Rizwan.

Now, the trainer who once stood behind the scenes is becoming a talking point himself.

And judging by the stories he's already sharing, audiences might be hearing a lot more soon.

Because if Hrithik eats fourteen chapattis…
    And Vicky digests bricks…
    And Ranveer explodes into transformation…

You can only imagine what else Mustafa still knows.

Some secrets, after all, even spies keep.
