Dhurandhar: The Revenge Hits ₹1,000 Crore Worldwide

Bollywood’s Mega Blockbuster Roars

Bollywood is witnessing a box office storm. Dhurandhar The Revenge, released on March 19, 2026, has smashed past the ₹1,000 crore worldwide mark in just seven days, becoming the fastest Hindi film to cross ₹1,000 crore worldwide. With ₹575–610 crore net in India and ₹210–231 crore overseas, the film has set a new benchmark for Indian cinema.

Dhurandhar vs Dhurandhar The Revenge Box Office Showdown

The original Dhurandhar was a blockbuster, collecting ₹691 crore globally. But the sequel’s pace is jaw‑dropping:

• Opening Weekend India Net: ₹503 crore vs. ~₹300 crore for the original

• Worldwide Gross (Day 6): ~₹900–1,000 crore vs. ₹691 crore lifetime for the original

• India Net (Day 6): ~₹600 crore vs. ~₹465 crore for the original at the same stage

Together, the franchise has now crossed ₹2,000 crore worldwide, making it the first Hindi duology to achieve this milestone.

Dhurandhar The Revenge vs Baahubali 2 The Clash of Titans

Trade experts are calling the film a “tsunami at the box office.” It has already surpassed the opening trajectories of RRR, KGF Chapter 2, Pathaan, and Jawan. The burning question now is whether Dhurandhar The Revenge can dethrone Baahubali 2 as India’s highest‑grossing film. To do so, it must sustain momentum beyond ₹1,500 crore worldwide.

Can Dhurandhar The Revenge Keep the Fire Alive

Weekday drops are visible — Monday’s ₹60 crore compared to Sunday’s ₹113 crore — showing the usual cooling trend. Upcoming April releases may test its dominance, but with strong word of mouth, Ranveer Singh’s star power, and high‑octane action, the film looks unstoppable.

The Final Verdict Bollywood’s Paisa Vasool Spectacle

Dhurandhar The Revenge is not just a sequel — it’s a spectacle redefining Bollywood’s global reach. For fans, it’s a thrilling rollercoaster; for the industry, it’s proof that Indian cinema can deliver world‑class entertainment and box office collections that rival Hollywood.
